This portfolio is for my CHHS 125 college course, taught by professors David Calloway and Natasha Oehlman. The main topic of this class was writing as healing, which ranged from different groups of people such as those suffering from AIDS and war veterans. Despite their different traumatic experiences, these people used writing to help them heal and grow as people. My portfolio incorporates all of my work done over the semester, which includes my blog posts, two of my essays, and my final presentation video. My blog posts are a collaboration of ideas and concepts we covered in our class as well as voicing my own opinions and thoughts over the weeks. My classmates have commented and responded on my posts to create a conversation about the main themes and concepts covered in class. As this class comes to an end, we are working on a final project due at the end of the semester. This portfolio is a final assignment for the course, so students can showcase their work done throughout the semester. I hope everyone enjoys looking at my work because I have put a lot of effort into each assignment.
